Con el corazón adolorido y triste por los secuestros y la muerte violenta de tantos familiares, amigos, vecinos y ciudadanos nuestros, hemos visto las lágrimas y sentido el dolor y la angustia en tantas familias a quienes la violencia ha matado algún ser querido.

No podemos ser indiferentes. Lo que a otro le pasa a mí me afecta. Lo que al otro le ha sucedido, me puede ocurrir a mí. Somos miembros del mismo cuerpo social. Y es todo el cuerpo el que sufre. Por eso hoy estamos unidos por una causa que es una plegaria en el corazón de todos los mexicanos por la PAZ Y LA SEGURIDAD de nuestras familias, por la tranquilidad y el bienestar de nuestro MEXICO.

Unidos por la paz y la seguridad de MEXICO:

- Para rechazar y condenar la violencia que destruye y la inseguridad que amedrenta a nuestras familias.

- Para manifestar solidariamente que queremos vivir en paz, en sosiego, libres de miedo y zozobra.

- Para proclamar nuestro derecho humano de vivir en condiciones sociales que favorezcan la seguridad y la libertad, la justicia y el bien común.

- Para comprometernos a construir la paz en el corazón de cada uno, y en las relaciones mutuas.

With a sore heart and saddened by the abduction and violent death of so many families, friends, neighbors and citizens, we have seen the tears and felt the pain and distress in many families to whom violence has killed a loved one.

We cannot be indifferent. What happens to the other affects me. What has happened to the other, I might happen to me. We are members of the same social body. And the whole body suffers. So today we are united for a cause that is a prayer in the hearts of all Mexicans by the peace and security of our families, for the peace and welfare of our MEXICO.

United for Peace and Security of MEXICO:

- To reject and condemn the violence that destroys and insecurity to our families.

- To express solidarity that we want to live in peace and tranquility, free from fear and anxiety.

- To proclaim our human right to live in conditions that promote the safety and freedom, justice and the common good.

- To commit ourselves to building peace in the heart of each, and in mutual relations.
